In the spring the snow melts and our garden grows rich with flowers, fruit and vegetables. The sunflowers can grow as high as thirteen feet. The birds and bees love them. I harvest and roast the seeds.
We grow grapes. They are beautiful and flavorful.
Last summer we grew eggplants for the first time. They were delicious.
Here you can see tomatoes and peppers in the foreground and that wildness in the back is asparagus. Asparagus out of the garden is an amazing treat.
This bowl represents a little of the reward I got for all my hard work.
