I live in Dummerston, Vermont. Our home was built in 1810. The slate on the roof comes from our property, as does the wood with which the house was built. Note the difference in color between spring in the front yard and winter in the back!
This winter the bench you see below was entirely covered by snow. It has been a particularly snowy winter.
